How to find us
Bus from Edinburgh – No 104 from Princes Street. Takes 30 minutes.
Local parking available and free.
When you first arrive at the Health Centre, you will see the reception desk just inside the main front doors. The Health Centre reception staff will direct you through to the Sexual Health Clinic. There are also notices to guide you.
When are we open
Tuesday: 3.30pm – 4.30pm
Healthy Respect + Young Persons Drop In Clinic
Tuesday: 5.00pm – 6.00pm
General Clinic – no appointment necessary.
Booked IUD Clinic appointment.
Phone Chalmers Centre 0131 536 1070 and ask to be booked into Tranent Sexual Health Clinic(IUDs only).
Who we are
The team is made up of Sexual Health Practitioners and include reception staff, a youth worker, nurses and a doctor.
Who can come?
Anyone may attend the clinic. Whatever their age, sex and sexuality. The young persons clinic is specifically for 18 years and under.
We offer a confidential service and if required, can refer you on to more appropriate services. Priority will be given to people who live in the local area.
If you are registered with any of the local GPs, they may refer you to our clinic if they need you would benefit from specialist advice.
